Before I became a parent Halloween was so easy – Pick up a costume and go out trick or treating, that was about it. As a parent I see everything in a different light haha. Now I am worried about how cold it will be, I’m worried that it will be late and my son needs to go down for bed, and I am also worried about my son carrying one of those open trick or treating bags, which I think are so annoying.
With kids running, pushing each other, falling , etc.. All the candy falls right out of those classic trick or treating bags. And as you know! it’s our job, as parents, to pick up the candy.
That is why I came up with the Trick or Treating Sock Bag!
To make these Trick Or Treating Sock Bags you need the following –
Then I used my son’s baseball bat and a wine bottle inside of the socks. That way you have more of a flat and firm surface. Any bottle would work, just make sure the socks are not too stretched out. This is how mine looked like –
Then the fin begins! be creative. Meet Mrs. Fuzzy Monster and Mr. Green Slime –
Let the trick or treating socks dry over night! I used Babies “R” Us hangers to hang them and let them dry. (By the way, this is how they look in the dark… Cool right?)
Even though Halloween is October 31st, I feel like there is so much excitement building up the whole month of October. I love the fact that when you go out you see all the Halloween decorations, costumes, scary witches hanging from the ceiling of the stores. Definitely fun!!
I also looove finding out new in-store events, specially because the colder weather is definitely arriving… So while shopping at Babies “R” Us for some Babies “R” Us hangers and Huggies Natural Care wipes, I found that Babies “R” Us is doing a Baby’s First Halloween In-store Event coming up!
I was super excited to know that there will be giveaways & Raffle Prizes. What is better than celebrating Baby’s First Halloween with a keepsake craft & parade around the store!? The staff will also help moms get ready for colder weather highlighting product solutions & tips. Best of all though, you can meet and mingle with local moms. I am so glad I went to the store to buy our Huggies Natural Care wipes instead of buying online. I wouldn’t have been able to speak to the staff who definitely got me excited for this in-store event, which is taking place on October 15th between 11am-12pm. Find this event near you!
And guess what you can use to clean your little one after all of that Halloween candy!? Huggies Natural Care wipes
